Fuquay-Varina: room to breathe, and a few things to know about it.
South Lakes, Ballentine, the older streets near downtown Varina, and the half-acre and up lots out toward Willow Spring.
Bigger lots mean mowing is priced by the walk rather than the sheet, and it is usually worth every-other-week on the back acre and weekly on the part you see. A lot of Fuquay homes are on septic: we never plant trees or run a drain line across a drain field, and we will ask where yours is before we dig anything. If you are on a well, we plan irrigation and new sod around what the well can actually give you in August.
Older downtown lots have the mature-tree issues Cary has, plus some real slope. Erosion control, jute netting and groundcover on the banks, comes up more here than anywhere else we work.
Fuquay is the far edge of our circle, about twenty minutes from the depot, so we route it in blocks: one day a week, several yards together. If your street is on that day, you are in. If it is not, we will say so up front.
